Pasta Moto is one of my favorite go-to lunch spots in the city. Yeah, it does get very busy around lunch time with all the different people that come to Westfield Centre such as tourists, homeless people, business people and/or yuppies and the 1 percenters from the conventions at nearby Moscone Center, et. al, but it's still a nice spot to check out at the busy food court at Westfield.
When I go there, I usually get the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken or sometimes I'll get the Ravioli with chicken. Every now and then I'll get their pizza, but I mainly go with the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken or the Ravioli with chicken.
As with most restaurants in SF, especially downtown SF, Pasta Moto can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it. The food is always fresh, it's hot, and it's always pretty tasty. You get your money's worth for sure more often than not.
The customer service here is cool too. I know the cashier's and the guys that make the food since I come there frequently, but they are always appreciative when I come there, they usually know what I'm going to order, and they usually have your order ready within 5 minutes of ordering. It's pretty fast service considering the circumstances, especially when a lot of people go there during lunch time.
But yes, I enjoy Pasta Moto and recommend this place if you want a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner in downtown SF. -

Grabbed a quick lunch here.... I had the ravioli with meat sauce and it was delicious. They were also able to make a hacked Mac and cheese for my son (super picky eater for a kid)-- made out of rotini, Parmesan cheese, and Alfredo sauce, he loved it!!!

I went here for dinner today because I was craving pizza. It's not on the menu, but if you ask for a cheese pizza, they'll make it for you. This pizza was very oily, cheesy (good), and soggy in the middle, but the cheese was sliding off of my pizza. I was fine that it was soggy in the middle because the dough around it was crispy. I thought this pizza was good and I'd come here again to order pizza.
I also tried their penne pasta with meat sauce and it tasted good too, but it didn't soak in the sauce that well and the pasta felt overcooked.
I'd recommend this place if you're having some huge pizza cravings and don't mind the oil, but I just wish they gave me more than one napkin. -

My sisters and I walked from Japantown to the Westfield Shopping Mall. We were hungry, so we decided to get something to eat at the food court. Which one shall we dine at? Lobster Me? Buckhorn Grill? Koja Kitchen? The paella from the Brazilian place (name escapes me)? They opted for Buckhorn Grill and I chose Pasta Moto.
I could not do a check-in. My cell phone had only three percent power left and my portable charger was dead. Ugh!!! My oldest sister had to take a photo of me with my margherita pizza and oven roasted vegetables.
The pizza was okay. It was nothing to write home about. Definitely it was not as tasty as the margherita pizza from Tony's Napoletena Pizza in North Beach. Even the tomato mozzarella panini that Starbucks used to sell tasted better. Ai yah! I made a mediocre choice in the food court.
The oven roasted vegetables lacked garlic seasoning. I am not a fan of parmesan cheese in those little packets. I prefer fresh grated parmesan. Overall, the veggies could have been better. I was somewhat disappointed.
To think, I almost wanted to borrow that line from T-Challa (Chadwick Boseman) in a skit on SNL regarding Karen's potato salad, except in this case it was the veggies. I couldn't burst the employee's bubble and tell him "to keep that bland a** oven roasted vegetables to himself." Instead I asked for a to go box. (Yes, when I arrived home, I threw some minced garlic and parsley flakes to doctor up the veggies.)
Lesson learned. I will not order the oven roasted veggies again. Return visit? Might, then might not. It was a hit and miss in my book.
However, the employees were friendly and helpful. -

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which I believe was a special of the day. Not impressed at all. The noodles were cooked nicely but the sauce had no taste and the meatball was flavorless. Not worth the $14 for the bowl. Thank you, next.
